Have to pay for the campsite, pay for the regional pass, pay daily to launch the boat and pay for wood. $6.00 got us 7 pieces of wood
There is a lot to do here if you have young kids. There is a small barn zoo. The Zipline is fun. There is a great little splash park. The fishing is great. There is a restaurant. There is a cool old swinging bridge. The playground is vintage.
Great camping. Has almost everything you need and town is close for anything else. Some spots are kinda small and close together.
We went to the festival of lights. It is probably my favourite Christmas activity every year. It is charming beyond words. The community comes together to make this magical Christmas event happen. It's pure joy. And this is from a woman approaching 50... it brings me to tears every single time. Just wish I could have a goodie bag at the end too.
This camp ground is one of the best ones I've been toIt has tons of stuff for kids to do like a spray park, mini golf, zip line, petting zoo, trout pond, suspension bridge and many play structuresThere is no beach at the camp ground but is one down the lake where you rent cabins Also the only negative I have is $6.00 for a bundle of fire wood which has like 6 pieces is kinda crazy
